Terms of Service

Welcome to Mothlit. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable; this is a template and should be reviewed by a lawyer before a real launch.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Mothlit.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

Please use Mothlit for its intended purpose: tracking and discussing shows and movies. Don't:

• Post unlawful, hateful, harassing or infringing content.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the service.
• Scrape, resell or misuse data or content from the app.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

Your content

You own the comments, lists and ratings you create. By posting them, you grant us a limited license to store and display them so the app can function and so people you share with can see them.

Paid plans & support

• The core app is free. No paid checkout is currently live.
• Optional early support may help fund development, but it does not buy control over the roadmap or create a service-level guarantee.
• If paid extras launch later, they will be described before purchase and kept separate from core tracking features.

Availability

We work hard to keep Mothlit fast and available, but we provide it "as is" without warranties. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, with reasonable notice where we can.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
